N2  -   In this review an attempt has been made to give a holistic report of the anti-acne phytoconstituents which has been reported possess anti-acne activity in different research work. It was also tried to explain different associated properties of phytoconstituent to analyze the constituents completely. The effort was also made to give the biological sources, family, different constituent and the research work done to identify the vital potential of phytoconstituent which has been utilized or which will be utilized in the development of Ayurvedic anti-acne formulation. Attempt was also made to explain different type of Acne, their causes and pool of information related to them.
