Synthesis of Some New Pyridazino-Pyrimidinone Derivatives and Evaluation of their Antimicrobial Activity

Abstract
A series of pyridazino-pyrimidinone derivatives[V-a to V-l] has been synthesized using synthetic procedure of Bianchi method, an improved method of Friedal-Craft acylation reaction and nucleophilic addition of indole/methyl indole followed by cyclo-condensation of the resulting adduct to give corresponding pyridazinone1. These derivatives were biologically evaluated for their antimicrobial activity.
